Starting Sept. 1, all Olympic College students, faculty and staff can ride Kitsap Transit buses and local ferries for free with the OC Bus Pass!

Kitsap Transit’s fall service change starts Sept. 13. We’re adding new stops and frequency on several routes and adding a new SK Ride Express route with direct service to the Port Orchard Ferry Dock.

Kitsap Transit will stop operating seven weekday round-trip sailings that were temporarily added in 2022.

The World Cup officially kicked off in Seattle on June 15! Whether you’re an out-of-town visitor or a Kitsap County resident, public transit is the best way to get to the game.

All Olympic College students will be able to ride Kitsap Transit buses and local ferries with a free bus pass during the 2026-27 academic year thanks to a $200,000 grant from the state.

The pass will allow riders to save money on transit while riding over multiple days.

Starting June 7, Kitsap Transit will make changes to Routes 222 and 238 and pilot a new route in downtown Bainbridge Island.

The shuttle will operate from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturdays through September 12.

Kitsap Transit will operate additional late-night bus and ferry service across six game days in June and July to support fans attending FIFA World Cup 2026 soccer matches in Seattle.  

Summer sailing schedules include all-day Saturday service from Bremerton, Kingston and Southworth to Seattle, and late-night local ferry service between Bremerton and Port Orchard.

Kitsap Transit will receive a $15 million grant from the Federal Transit Administration to build a regional bus-driver training facility that will enhance public safety and support transit agencies in Kitsap and neighboring counties.
