Summer fast ferry schedules begin May 2
A Kitsap Transit fast ferry approaches the Bremerton Ferry Dock.
Kitsap Transit will start operating summer schedules on all fast ferry routes beginning Saturday, May 2!
Summer sailing schedules include all-day Saturday service from Bremerton, Kingston and Southworth to Seattle (plus connecting bus service) and late-night local ferry service between Bremerton and Port Orchard. Summer schedules will run through September 26, 2026. Click on your route below for details.
Route 186–Southworth and Route 307–Kingston/North Viking Fast Ferry will operate Saturday service starting on May 2 to connect with the Southworth and Kingston fast ferry routes.
The Port Orchard Ferry will operate later into the evening to accommodate passengers traveling to and from Seattle on the Bremerton Fast Ferry. You can view the Port Orchard Ferry schedule here.
Extra Bremerton Fast Ferry weekday sailings will end August 31, 2026
Kitsap Transit will stop operating extra weekday fast ferry sailings on the Bremerton Fast Ferry route after August 31, 2026, when state funding runs out. These were trips added in late 2022 to help fill a service gap left by Washington State Ferries during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Legislature funded these trips (marked in yellow on our website) through the end of August 2026. Washington State Ferries restored two-boat service on the Seattle/Bremerton route in June 2025.
