Our summer service change includes significant adjustments to South Kitsap service, including route name and number changes and a new route.

Summer sailing schedules include all-day Saturday service from Bremerton, Kingston and Southworth to Seattle (plus connecting bus service), and late-night local ferry service between Bremerton and Port Orchard.

The tracker shows the real-time location, crowdedness and estimated arrival time of your bus at the next few stops. Riders can also plan trips, view bus or ferry schedules, and find stops near their location.

On March 16, Kitsap Transit will add Sunday bus service on Bainbridge Island, the last phase in our rollout of Sunday bus service that began in 2023.

On March 5, Kitsap Transit is switching to a new rider alerts platform, SimplifyTransit, that will allow riders to receive personalized text and email notifications for their bus and ferry routes. 

Kitsap Transit’s passenger-only ferries carried a record 1.22 million riders in 2024, 12% more than the previous year. Systemwide, Kitsap Transit’s ferry services maintained 99% reliability and 97% on-time performance in 2024.
