Summer fast ferry schedules return June 3

The Lady Swift departs Seattle on January 31, 2023.

We’re back!

Kitsap Transit’s summer fast ferry schedule begins on Saturday, June 3. That means all-day Saturday sailings from Bremerton, Kingston and Southworth to downtown Seattle!

Just like last year, we delayed the start of our summer schedules due to a shortage of qualified deckhands. We have filled several of those positions and are in the process of training and certifying new deckhands on our vessels.

Saturday schedules vary by route:

  • The Bremerton route operates 10 round-trip sailings per day, starting with the 9:20 AM sailing from Bremerton and ending with the 10:50 PM sailing from Seattle.

  • The Kingston route operates 8 round-trip sailings per day, starting with the 9:20 AM from Kingston and ending with the 10:25 PM sailing from Seattle.

  • The Southworth route operates 11 round-trip sailings per day, starting with the 9:45 AM sailing from Southworth and ending with the 10:35 PM sailing from Seattle. Southworth’s schedule will change depending on Washington State Ferries’ (WSF) schedule, so make sure to check their sailing times for the most up-to-date information.

You can view complete schedules for all three routes on our Ferries page. Additional PM service will be added to the Port Orchard-Bremerton local ferry on Saturdays to accommodate passengers traveling to and from Seattle on the Bremerton Fast Ferry.

One quick note: Since December 2022, Kitsap Transit has operated a limited Saturday sailing schedule on the Bremerton-Seattle route as part of an agreement with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) to fill in gaps in Washington State Ferries’ schedule.

This temporary Saturday schedule (seven round trips per day to Seattle) will be replaced with our normal summer Saturday schedule (10 round trips per day). We will continue to operate our expanded weekday ferry schedule on the Bremerton route. Check out the Bremerton Fast Ferry page for details.

Summer schedules will run until September 30. Kitsap Transit Fast Ferry fares are $2 traveling from Kitsap County to Seattle and $10 from Seattle to Kitsap County. You can pay with cash or an ORCA card. For information on reduced-fare options, visit our fares page.
