Fall service change begins September 14
Kitsap Transit’s summer service change begins on Sunday, September 14.
We will be making changes to Routes 119, 186, 212, 217, 307, Kingston Ride and Purdy Ride. Changes include new trips, adjustments to timepoints to improve connections, and adding or removing stops. Additionally, Kingston Ride will continue to operate on Saturdays after the Kingston Fast Ferry switches to its winter schedule.

Starting Sunday, Sept. 14, three stops will be added on Route 119–Madrona:
Mitchell Avenue at DeKalb Street (southbound)
Mitchell Avenue at Wolves Road (southbound)
Mitchell Avenue at Taylor Street (southbound)

Starting Sunday, Sept. 14, the 9:55 AM Route 186–Southworth trip will now depart at 10:12 AM. This trip was shifted to better align with Washington State Ferries’ three-boat schedule.
One Route 186 trip is being added, departing the Port Orchard Ferry Dock at 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM from the Southworth Ferry.
Route 186 will no longer operate on Saturdays after Sept. 27, 2025, to align with the Southworth Fast Ferry’s switch to its winter schedule.
Both Route 186 stops on Mile Hill Drive at California Avenue will be removed. Passengers can use stops at California Avenue and Legrand Street instead.

Starting Sunday, Sept. 14, one AM trip is being added on Route 212–Bremerton/Silverdale West, departing the Bremerton Transportation Center at 5:20 AM.

Starting Sunday, Sept. 14, the 7:10 AM Route 217–Bremerton/Silverdale East trip departing the Silverdale Transit Center will now depart five minutes earlier at 7:05 AM.

Starting Sunday, Sept. 14, two trips are being added on Route 307–Kingston/North Viking Fast Ferry, departing the Kingston Ferry Terminal at 5:10 AM and 2:15 PM. Those trips will arrive at North Viking Transit Center at 5:28 AM and 2:34 PM, respectively.
The 9:02 AM trip from the Kingston Ferry Terminal will now depart at 8:42 AM to better align with the Kingston Fast Ferry’s arrival at 8:34 AM.
Route 307 will no longer operate on Saturdays after Sept. 27, 2025, to align with the Kingston Fast Ferry’s switch to its winter schedule.

Kingston Ride will continue to operate on Saturdays after Sept. 27, 2025. The service previously ended on Saturdays when the Kingston Fast Ferry switched to its winter schedule.

Starting on Sunday, Sept. 14, the 12:15 PM Purdy Ride trip departing Purdy Park & Ride will depart five minutes later at 12:20 PM and arrive at the Port Orchard Ferry dock at 12:40 PM.
