Beginning Thursday, Sept. 7, Washington State Ferries' (WSF) Seattle/Bainbridge Island route will operate a one-boat schedule while work crews install a new pedestrian walkway at the ferry terminal. The Seattle/Bainbridge route will be closed to vehicles and bicycles during the work.

To accommodate passengers traveling to and from the island, Kitsap Transit will be making the following temporary adjustments to its bus service:

On-Island Bus Service (Routes 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99 and 106)

  • All early AM trips (trips departing around 4:30 AM) will be canceled. To accommodate WSF's one-boat schedule, a late AM trip has been added on the following routes. The trips will connect with 9:40 AM WSF departure.

    • Route 94–Agate Point passengers should take Routes 93/96.
